About This Project

Rooted in Wyoming is partnering with Smith Alley Brewing Co. and Travis Hines from Bio-Logic Designs on a Farm Wall for Smith Alley during the 2020 growing season. Big thanks to Travis Hines/Bio-Logic Designs (walls, plants & installation), McCormick Family/Smith Alley Brewing for hosting us (providing the space, electricity and water), Tucker Goss/Sheridan Iron Works for the custom bases & the Wyoming Business Council/Department of Agriculture for the award of the grant for the first wall!

Funds for the other four walls were graciously donated by our other community partners:

First Federal Bank & Trust
Chris & Maddy Pope
Wyoming Roofing
Big Horn Design
First Northern Bank of Wyoming

The vision for Farm Walls is to create an experience that intrigues and educates, which in turn will create nutritional and economic resources for participating communities. Wyoming Farms Walls is a USDA Specialty Crop funded project through the Wyoming Business Council and the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. Eleven grants were awarded across Wyoming. This really has been an amazing project. Each hosting community and location is unique and has powerful opportunities for growth of plants, education, and economic development. The strength lies in the collaboration of different organization sectors towards the common goal of creating resources.
