Garden of Grace

Located on the property of Grace Anglican Church, the Garden of Grace was built in 2019 in partnership with Fletcher Construction.

The goal of this garden is to bring the love of Jesus to neighbors and the community by working together in the garden and sharing healthy food on an “as-needed” basis.

Building and growing relationship between neighbors

cultivates a healthy, verdant community.

This garden has a large number of regular volunteers who donate an impressive amount of time! There are a large variety of plants in numerous raised beds, fruit trees, shrubs, hops, herbs, grapes, a rose garden, and even artichokes! A gravel path, gate, and drip irrigation system were installed by Fletcher Construction in 2022. There is a circular four-sister garden bed, and a mailbox for volunteer communication.

Activities in the garden have included a Leadership Wyoming workday organized by RW, evening bible studies, a community BBQ, a garage sale fundraiser, workdays with Sheridan Honors Society Students, and Culinary Collaboration partnerships. To celebrate the garden ministry, each fall a Harvest Banquet is hosted that incorporates the produce grown collectively in the garden.

Future work includes filling the new raised beds and improving the water system in the spring. There is always work to be done in the garden so please contact Amy if you would like to volunteer!
