Garden of Isidore

Garden Leader: Emily Wille // Holy Name School

Named after Saint Isidore, the Patron of Farmers, this garden was built in 2017.

Who would have thought that Brussel sprouts would end up being the student’s favorite vegetable the first year? They inspired a school-wide Brussels Sprout Festival!

The Garden of Isidore is a beautiful, abundant space. It serves as a source for fresh produce and as an extension of Holy Name Catholic School’s science classroom, as well as a space for art, reading, and even math classes!

New fencing was added in 2024. This garden features raised beds, a pumpkin patch, raspberries, roses, and more!
